With the advance of technology the Time Recorder has advanced a long way over the last few years. The gradual growth of attendance software has made an impact. Alternatively for companies who need more than the basic time recorder you are now able to have a PC linked swipe system for a similar price to an old style clock card time recorder. The maintenance on these systems is greatly reduced as they now contain virtually no moving parts, this is especially true if choosing a biometric or proximity operated unit which will read the palm of your hand or your fingerprint a chip in a card or key fob etc from a small distance with no contact or button pressing needed. The days of writing out hundreds of clock cards each week are also avoided as the new cards/key fobs do not need changing from week to week as with the humble Time Recorder of old.
